Though we keep telling ourselves we don't need another hobby, we have yet another one. San was watching HGTV and saw this lady doing pet portraits out of contact paper (shelf paper)...using different colors to make the shapes and such...cutting and overlaying each tiny piece. She didn't really care for what the lady was doing but thought the idea would be neat. So she started playing around with it, taught me, and we did more the past couple days. The frog was my first and it was really fun to do...quick, pretty easy, and though I don't think the picture does it justice, I think it is pretty cool. Mom gets the frog (she knows this already). So the next night, I wanted to do another small one and the result was this card with a turtle on it.
Fairly addicting so I'm sure I'll be doing more of this...working up in complication as I go...
