woohoo stripe study! I felt a bit like a follower for about 2 seconds, but then promptly forgot about it when I got caught up in how fun and addictive that pattern is.

That is a great knitting project to kick off the New Year with. It is a very nice shade of blue (not that I think there could be a bad shade of blue!). Happy New Year!

Hi Rachel, thank you for your kind words on my blog. I had a wonderful new year's. We went to Emerald Lake Lodge in Yoho national park and cross country skied, ate good food, sat by the fire and drank wine and I set goals for 2012...and almost finished Adam's socks! Only one heel to go. I will keep my blog - I think I need that creative outlet.
